Adventures in Provo

Well, besides cleaning (mostly Meg), school/work (Eric), and drooling/eating (mostly Scotty), we have managed to break out of our monotony a few times!

First, we met up with the Birk's and the Jensen's at Kennecott Mine and Bingham Canyon--the largest manmade hole on earth; large enough to be seen from space. It's 3/4 of a mile deep and 2.5 miles wide and growing everyday...it is worked on 24/7/365.

We had a good time hanging out with people with little kids again :o)

Also, the weather here (after an apparently horrible winter that we missed! woohoo!) is starting to warm up, and we went to the park yesterday to celebrate. Scotty loves being able to wriggle around outside, and he still occasionally eats the grass even though he thinks it tastes like celery. His favorite activity, though, is climbing mom and dad!

So glad we got to hang out w/ y'all. I just posted about this too! We'll have to hang out at least once more before we leave.
