10 Things

Ten Things We'll Miss About Provo:

1. Being able to walk everywhere! the library, campus, friend's houses...
2. Fall colors (I know they're pretty lame in Utah compared to anywhere back East, but still!)
3. The National Parks! Especially Goblin Valley, home of many great adventures
4. BYU sports! i'm not sure how we'll survive...
5. Ballroom dancing...haven't found a place away from Utah for this yet!
6. How everything that would seem weird anywhere else is somehow normal
7. Having a calling I won't get anywhere else till I'm old (have you ever met a family history consultant who didn't have grandkids?!)
8. Having so many friends who share the same standards and values (and playmates for Scotty!) and having a temple close by
   
9. Doc's pizza buffet, Cafe Rio, and $1 movies
10. Desert Industries, which provided shelving, shoes, decorations, and almost all of our furniture...

Ten Things We Love About Phoenix:

1. The freeway system and a carpool lane that works
2. (generally) Good drivers!
3. Sunshine, blue skies, cacti, palm trees, and sunsets
4. Family close by!!!
   
5. Being able to leave the house without bundling up and wearing flip-flops year round (except to church!)
6. the Mesa Easter Pageant!
7. Having more obvious opportunities to share what is important to us
8. Calzones from T.C. Luigi's, enchilada pizza from Nello's, and anything from Baja Fresh
9. The world's best Ross! sponsor of my entire wardrobe :o)
10. Nice, wide streets that aren't filled with parked cars
